La ceremonia de entrega de los Premios Hormiga 2010, convocados por la Academia Irreverenda de las Feas Artes y Otras Ocupaciones Inútiles, acabó rodeada de polémica, como no podía ser de otra manera.
Ante la sorpresa del numeroso público reunido, los presentadores del acto -cuatro supuestos “actores” o “comediantes” cobardemente camuflados bajo unos tristes disfraces de hormiga- se dedicaron a mofarse de los dibujantes y profesionales del medio del tebeo-cómic adjudicándoles las distintas categorías de premios por un singular sistema de sorteo o rifa, dirigido y manipulado por una de las hormigas (presentada al público como “Hormigón Armado”) que, aleatoriamente, iba extrayendo “premiados” de una chistera con su miembro de desproporcionadas dimensiones. El sorteo no estuvo exento de sospechas y dudas sobre su supuesta imparcialidad, pues si bien el azar parecía ser el hilo conductor de tamaño disparate, no es menos cierto que hubo quien acaparó más de un premio y quien obtuvo galardones ciertamente impropios de su categoría artística.
Al final del acto se escucharon gritos de “tongo”, hubo quien se desgarró la camisa mostrando su indignación por el premio recibido y se vio alguna que otra disputa por los galardones más codiciados. Finalmente los miembros de la Academia Irreverenda tuvieron que salir del local escoltados por la Guardia Cilvil ante las amenazas físicas y verbales recibidas.
El GRAN PREMIACO HORMIGA 2010 fue adjudicado a Manuel, el dueño del pub Boulevard.
