En la serranía andaluza y en la audiencia de TV, durante un tiempo reinó: Curro Jiménez. El gitano, el estudiante y el algarrobo le acompañaban en sus fechorías contra los franceses y los caciques andaluces. El Robin Hood a lo andaluz de mediados de los ochenta tuvo su versión en viñetas. Como ocurre en estos casos, nadie la firma pero sí que aparecieron una docena de números en los que se relatan las aventuras de este bandolero. El dibujo en sus primeras páginas no es malo pero después se va volviendo más vago, hasta ser nefasto.
Con esta serie, más que a Curro Jiménez, se intenta vender a su alter-ego, Sancho Gracia. El actor es portada, póster central y finalmente, incluso nos ofrecen su biografía novelada por capítulos. Atención: Curro vuelve con su trabuco bajo el brazo, la navaja de muelles y unas risas.
